“The F Word”, “August: Osage County”, “Dallas Buyers Club”, and “Don Hemingway” are some of the movies that have made their debut at the 2013 Toronto International Film Festival (read here other news).
“August: Osage County” and “Dallas Buyers Club” are being considered hopefuls for next year’s annual Academy Awards.
“August: Osage County” stars Meryl Streep and Julia Roberts and is the story of the Westons who have been brought together by family tragedy to their home in Osage County.
Streep plays Violet Weston who is stricken with cancer and is addicted to painkillers for quite some time while Roberts plays her eldest daughter who is annoyed by her. The movie has gotten mixed reviews by critics.
“The F Word” stars Harry Potter star Daniel Radcliffe and is a romantic comedy which has received positive reviews.
In Don Hemingway, Mark Wahlberg and Jude Law star in film about outlaws. Law stars as Hemingway and the film, which is directed by Richard Shepherd, has gotten fairly positive reviews. Shepherd also directed “The Matador”.
