Snowbombing, the week-long festival held in the Austrian village of Mayrhofen each year, has already started to announce its line up for the next event in April 2014.
The festival, held high in the Alps, includes not only DJ’s and electronic musicbut also skiing, snowboarding, and music of the highest quality with world class acts and unique venues including an igloo high on the mountains. It’s basically a party in the snow.
The 15 year old festival this year will feature Carl Cox, Nic Fanciulli, Roman Flugel, Scuba, Paul Woolford, Will Saul, Bicep, Horse Meat Disco, Anthony Naples, and J.G. Wilkes of the Optimo.
The other artists which have been announced including in the drum and bassShy FX, Breakage, Dismantle and reggae artist David Rodigan and garage artists DJ EZ.
The Snowbombing winter and music festival has been held since 2000 moving from France to Austria and has featured among its line up Fatboy Slim,Madness, Pendulum, Example, Magnetic Man, Sub Focus, and Mylo.
The festival features close to 50 pools and saunas for those who wish to relax before or after they play in the snow and listen to the electronic beat.
A number of major broadcasters have featured the festival including the BBC and MTV Europe.
