Star Wars Episode 7 looks to the British

he rumour mill has been swirling around reports that British stars Alex Pettyfer, Rachel Hurd-Wood, and Jonathan Rhys Meyers have been cast in the upcoming film “Star Wars Episode 7”.

The plot rumour suggests that the film will focus on the lives of 17-year-old twins who are trained by their uncle to be Jedis. Pettyfer has been rumoured to have read for the role of Luke Skywalker’s son while Hurd-Wood is said to have read for the role of Princess Leia’s daughter.

Twenty-three year old Pettyfer has starred in such films as “I Am Number Four”, the American movie “Beastly”, “Magic Mike” and “The Butler”. Hurd-Wood, 23, played the role of Wendy in the 2003 movie version of “Peter Pan” and also starred in “An American Haunting” as well as the 2010 film “Hideaways”.

Star Wars Episode 7, due for release in 2015 is to be directed by J.J. Abrams and Disney has confirmed that John Williams will compose the score. Williams has composed scores for such hits as “Raiders of the Lost Ark” and “Jurassic Park”.

According to the British Sun newspaper the movie is to be filmed in Scotland while there are other rumours that it is to be filmed at London’s Pinewood Studios as well as in Ireland.
